5. What should I do if the steam becomes less dense?
If the steam becomes thinner, this may be due to the following reasons:

• Chamber clogged: Clean the chamber and mouthpiece to ensure air circulation.
• Herbs packed too tightly: Fill the herbs loosely so that the hot air can flow through easily.
• Increase the temperature: Check whether the set temperature is suitable for your herbs. A higher setting may help.
• Check the battery: A low battery level can affect the heating performance. Charge the vaporizer if necessary.

Your herbs are completely vaporized when:

• The steam becomes significantly less visible.
• The taste is less intense.
• The color of the herbs in the chamber is uniformly brown.

Note: If the steam or flavor diminishes, check the herbs and empty the chamber if necessary.

Yes, the HAMMAH can also be used with small amounts. Make sure to fill the pod or glass mouthpiece loosely and evenly so that the hot air can circulate well. For optimal results, it is recommended not to fill the chamber completely when using smaller amounts.

• After each use: Lightly clean the chamber and mouthpiece to prevent residue buildup.
• Once a week: A more thorough cleaning of the mouthpiece, pod, and chamber for optimal performance and taste.
• Intensive use: Clean more frequently if you use the vaporizer daily.

To the HAMMAH clean and in top condition, follow these steps:

1. After each use: Empty the herb chamber and remove any residue with a brush.
2. Regular cleaning: Clean the glass mouthpiece and pod with isopropyl alcohol (at least 70%).
3. Deep cleaning: Remove deposits in the heating chamber with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol. Ensure that all parts are completely dry before the next use.

The HammaH is a hybrid vaporizer that not only delivers plenty of vapor, but is also really efficient—especially when microdosing.
You can fill the chamber very easily – ideally so that the area up to the mouthpiece chamber is loosely filled. Then take 1–3 puffs, switch the device off again and save the rest for later. It works perfectly.
Of course, you can reheat the same chamber later and continue using it – but please remember:

And of course, the more often you use the same chamber, the more the taste will change over time – that's completely normal.

Under normal use, there is no fixed replacement period. The mouthpieces are actually designed for a longer service life and should remain stable over a longer period of time if handled with care.

The herb chamber of the Hammah is about 0.15–0.2 g in size. The size naturally depends on the dryness of the herbs.

A loose pod can be easily fixed:

• Check the rubber seal: Ensure that the rubber seal is intact and fits correctly.
• Inserting the pod correctly: Insert the pod completely into the device. You can insert the HAMMAH HAMMAH
• Spare parts: If the rubber seal is damaged, you can soon order a replacement part.

The HAMMAH may become warm during operation, but excessive heat is not normal:

• Continuous operation: If the device runs at the highest temperature for a long period of time, allow it to cool down briefly.
• Air circulation: A clogged chamber can cause overheating. Clean the heating chamber and mouthpiece.
• Battery overheating: If the battery becomes unusually hot, stop charging it and contact customer service.

If the battery is not charging, check the following points:

• Cable and charger: Ensure that the USB-C cable and charger are functioning. Test a different cable or charger.
• Clean the connector: Contaminants in the USB-C connector can interfere with the connection. Carefully clean the connector with a dry cotton swab.
• Battery completely discharged: Let the vaporizer discharge completely and try charging it again.
• Defective battery: If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Don't worry, the clicking sound of your HAMMAH is completely normal and no cause for concern. It is related to how the device works. Here are the possible causes:

👉 Temperature control:
The clicking sound is likely caused by a mechanical relay or other components in the vaporizer that switch on and off regularly to maintain a precise temperature. This switching on and off can be perceived as a clicking sound.

👉 Material expansion:
When the vaporizer gets hot, some parts—especially metal or heat-resistant materials—expand slightly. This expansion can also cause noise.

👉 Safety mechanisms:
Some vaporizers have built-in safety features, such as magnetic valves or other moving parts that activate during heating. These can also make a clicking sound.

The clicking sound indicates that your device is functioning properly. However, if you feel that something is wrong, please refer to the manual or contact support at norddampf! 😊

Our recommendation:
After vaping, pull the mouthpiece out very slowly and evenly. This method is often enough to prevent it from getting stuck. If the pod does get stuck in the chamber, tweezers will help, as you already know.
Additional tip:
When inserting the Steelpod, make sure it is clean and dry—sometimes even slight condensation residue can cause it to stick.
I now let the Hammah cool down a little Hammah pulling out the mouthpiece.
This way, the Steepod rarely gets stuck in the heating chamber.

Yes, this behavior is not unusual for lithium-ion batteries in cold conditions. Batteries are sensitive to low temperatures, especially around 32°F (2°C), as in your case. The cold can cause:

• The battery capacity appears to be decreasing rapidly.
• The charging indicator is not functioning correctly.
• The battery discharges faster and no longer delivers full power.
  This phenomenon is not a defect in the device, but a typical characteristic of lithium-ion batteries.

No, once herbs have been vaporized, they are generally no longer effective.
Vaporized herbs are:

• Dry and brown.
• Tasteless.
  However, there are some users who use the leftovers for tea or for further processing.

No, unfortunately that is not possible.

The battery of the Hammah is permanently installed and unfortunately cannot be replaced.

The HAMMAH was developed specifically for herbs and is not directly suitable for concentrates. For extracts, we recommend the TERP PEN, the RELICT with a drip pad, or the DAB PEN MINI, which are specifically designed for this purpose.

The inner diameter of the mouthpiece is 7.82 mm.
